was stretched on a support made by an individual carpenter. If you open any art history book, attend any lecture, or visit a gallery featuring the work of a professional you can be assured of one thing: the work you see is painted on supports made by hand.
Everything we make is hand-crafted, from heavy duty stretcher bars, to traditional wood cradled panels, to custom-designed painting supports, and more. We believe in the tradition and relationship of an artist to his/her carpenter and we strive to re-instate and continue that tradition in our contemporary art world.
